Blue Ribbon Custom Blankets are hand made, right in our factory in Northern California, with some of the finest quality fabrics and workmanship available in the USA. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff is always on hand to answer your questions and our turn around times are the best in the custom business. You will be able to keep your customers happy with wonderful service and beautiful horse clothing that will exceed their expectations. In addition, we are continually adding new items to our product offerings to become a one stop shop for show people and their animals. Typically, since each piece is hand made, our turn around time is about 4
weeks for non-monogrammed and about 6 weeks for items with monogramming.
Our custom blankets, both for horses and dogs, run VERY true to size. It is important to accurately measure your animal for the best fit possible.
For horses, use a cloth tape measure, in a horizontal line, from the center of the chest ( cleavage), around the biggest point of the shoulder, across the barrel, to where the tail meets the rear end. (please see diagram on page )
Our horse blankets are sized in 2” increments, so, for example, if your horse measures 79”, please round up and order size 80”.
For dogs, 3 measurements are the best way to insure a perfect fit: from the collar to the base of the tail, form the center of the chest to the tail ( just like a horse) and from the center of your dogs back, in a vertical line down his side, about 3” past his/her belly. This will give you the “drop” of how long the blanket should be. (please see diagram on page ).
